SCHOLARSHIPS
Since 2006, the Frank R. Williams Scholarship Fund has partnered with the Calvin Coolidge Senior High School administration and faculty to identify student athletes in their senior year who demonstrate success on the field, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to both scholarship and community service. The Fund has awarded 22 annual scholarships to students attending 19 colleges and universities.
Students must submit an application, written essay, and participate in an interview with the Fund’s scholarship committee. Scholarships are awarded at Coolidge’s commencement ceremony. These monetary gifts support students’ textbook and living costs as well as other incidental expenses associated with higher education.
Ideal candidates must:
-
maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0
-
serve his or her community through volunteer work
